Confuesed.com!! Hats for xc!

I have a champion hat with the silver vent thing going across the top with a fixed peak. Last spring I had an xc lesson in this and they (pony club) said it was fine to use and said nothing more, talking to a friend today your not allowed fixed peaks?! So are you or are you not allowed these or is there a certain rule? Because if there is I need a new hat... What sort?!

I am in the understanding that fixed peaks are not allowed. I fell off once with a fixed peak and you could see the bruises across my forehead for days!!!!!

Yeah I didnt think fixed peaks are allowed either.

I wear a champion skull cap with a colourful silk on, hope this helps

I thought so, but why would pony club let me' wear it in an xc lesson and at pc camp where I even fell off on the course an they didn't say anything about the hat? :/

I'm guessing they let you use it because it was a fully certified hat and you were only schoolin but you do have to have a skull cap for xc.

Our pc will only let you use a skull cap for any form of xc.

ditto all of above, can damage your neck more with a fixed peak than without..
my PC allow "bends" in rules, bitting etc..
maybe they were doing the same

if your going to do anymore i would invest in a new hat
