Hi guys,
Please can you offer some of your knowledge. Two weekend ago, I entered my local riding club unaffiliated dressage competition. I was wearing my black WW gloves. As I started to warm up around the arena, I pasted the judges car who opened her door and she said that I wouldnt penalise you this time but there is a new rule that states that white/light coloured gloves must be worn. I apologised and said that I would change them for the next test. Now, the competition was being run under BD rules. All summer, I have been competing at this venue with black gloves.
I have checked on the BD website and found dated March 2010
Rule 45
Gloves - Must be worn. White, cream or beige gloves are strongly preferred.
Please can you help as I am confused as I cant find a new ruling. It isnt a problem as I have got a pair of cheap white gloves but if the rules have changed, I will go and purchase some better white/biege ones!
Thank you.
