confused jumping advice?

I probably sound like a right stupid idiot, but, how do you land a jump? One instructor said that i stay in my 2 point for 1 strides once av landed then go back to the normal seat in canter. Another said thats as am about to land lean back nd sit down :S HELP??? VERY CONFUSED ;/

i'd try to stay in 2 point but bring shoulders back so you are sitting up a bit more, but don't put your bum back down in the saddle for a stride or two after landing. if you lean back and sit down before landing the horse might well cramp a bit behind on the fence, imho. but tbh you need to do what feels natural and then adjust it a little if necessary, if you analyse it too much it doesn't help!
