Congratulations Pour Moi

He is but I thought the Jockey risked it a bit standing up before the finish.

Loved to have been there and seen it in the flesh so to speak.

The Queens horse looked great to, a nice third for Her Majesty.

regardless of losing a shoe, I don't think pour moi would have been beaten, that horse wanted to win more than anyone else! Cracking little horse! Pour moi was pushed out wider and came from right at the back of the field! Brilliant win

Fantastic win but so sorry HM not the winning owner.

As for the 19yo jockey? If you had a colt as cheeky as that would you not have booked the vet by now?

Fabulous horse by a stallion with an outstanding Derby record!

As to the jockey, he may have lost it in the closing stages (although we think he mistook the position of the finishing line) but for the other 2 minutes and thirty seconds of the the 2m34s running time he gave the horse a ride which belied his age and maturity!

ETA: with 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th Coolmore take home a rather sizeable £1,062,625 in prizze money

Don't be too harsh on the kid, he is young and he gave the horse a cracking ride. Yes he celebrated too early but he did win! I don't think he deserves the stick he is getting, aren't most youngsters (especially teenage boys) a little too self confident. He rode that horse to victory from the very back of the pack, and he did it brilliantly.

Oh for goodness sake - give the lad a break! He rode a brilliant race, so what if he was a little bit 'early' in his celebration!! The Horse was just amazing and they both deserved to win. I agree that it looked like he misjudged the finish line. Either way, I think it's a little unfair to give him such a hard time. I'm quite sure he wouldn't have been riding such a talented Horse in such a big race if he wasn't a great jockey.

A very exciting race! Though I am pleased to see that Mickael Barzalona has received an official knuckle rapping for his misjudgement! He was bloody lucky not to loose that race on the nose on the line! I think there would have been uproar if he'd got away scot free after Frankie's balls up in the Oaks yesterday!

I agree with this, he did an excellent job, and I think he has the sort of genius ability that will lead to a great career. My guess is he will much more humble for a while, but credit where it's due that horse was by far and away the class act.
Oh and I backed him to win!

It was a great race but the young lad was done for excessive use of the whip and then he stands up before the finish line. He is lucky the horse has such an amazing turn of foot. The horse was fantastic. Whereas Johnny Murtagh in the Oaks, brilliant riding :-)

Must have walked the track with Frankie!! Very lucky he got away with misjudging the line and I was delighted to see Native Khan nowhere after the ridiculous injunction as at the end of the day had the appeal not been heard so soon before the race Fallon would have def had grounds for appealing the appeal resulot. Ridiculous decision
