If i were you i would also consider temple bready fear bui who stands in the uk.he has produced good sturdy hunting horses and good eventers like lachstone vb and lachstone nv to name but a few.i know the commemara men here were sorry to see him go and also the people who used him on their showjumping and thoroughbred mares.you would hopefully end up with something near 16 hands that would be ideal for the hunting field.

ooo i was talking to someone about this yesterday they've put a few good mares to a connie stallion (who's name i will go and find out) and Francis Whittington has apparently also used him on some big mares too......will find out more!

My boy has been fantastic, jumped on England eventing teams, done up to senior foxhunters BSJA (he qualified for the second rounds but i thought that might be pushing him too far), he has a perfect temperment, amazing paces and has just been a wonderful pony for the last 12 years.

Thats great news!! Have you got any pics? I was in two minds as my mare is 16.3 and quite a large stamp, although fine boned in the leg. Its such a minefield.
I must admit, he is a stunner and has such a lovely temperament...youd never know he was uncut!
