Hi, I have just had to semi retire my 18year old Pure Race Espagnol (Spanish! I live in France, not sure how to say that in English) to Navicular. He is on full livery and I intend to continue to hack him as his condition permits.
In the meantime I am almost at the point of committing to a 3year old Connemara. She will be fully backed in all paces + hack out alone etc, backing due to begin mid April for around 3 to 4months. It will be the first youngster I have had (and the 1st pony! I'm 45!!). Any advice and or experiences of bringing/taking on a youngster greatly appreciated..............
