Just wondering if anyone has any experiences that i could benefit from.

My horse is being admitted to newmarket equine hospital on wednesday and i think will end up running a sky high bill up no doubt which isn't really a problem as he's insured and they are currently paying out but there is a part on the consent form that is bothering me.

It says in the case of insured horses............, i also understand that it is my responsibility to pay neh directly and then to claim fees from the relevant insurance company.

i'm just worried that if it's thousands then i'm really going to struggle to pay it up front

you need to speak to them and ask if it would be possible to deal direct with the insurance company. Some will only do that depending on who you are insured with and for a small admin charge.

Which one are you going to? PM or text me if you prefer.

I've been to two and they have both accepted payment direct from the insurance company, even though in two cases (once at each) it's been 'that' insurance company.

Edited: sorry, just realised that it's the Newmarket Equine hospital. Me being thick. Definately call them and explain.
