Exercised 2 polo ponies earlier, (ride and lead) hat and gloves on as usual. Rode in wellies and my green coat - I simply failed to put on my 'hi-viz' coat 'cos it is thick and I was hot... no excuses to not putting on my vest though, other than I was in a rush. Only went down the lanes before the bridleway. And, it seems i got seen, by an old friend who was at my 'lack of' turnout. OMG, I'm so sorry!! She has just FB'd me, to give me an ear full, once we confirmed I was there, at that time doing that!


I applaud her for knowing it was me though!

I have done it, got half way round and realized no vest!!
Which isnt quite as bad as getting half way through the village on a moped and then realizing i had no helmet on!!

I have done the helmet thing! Had my ear warmers on so guess I thought I had my hat on from the feeling of those, got half way round a hack and a branch hit my head, was then I realised I forgot my hat - woops! Thank god no road work involved!

Oops! I've done the no hat thing (accidentally obviously!), got halfway to the common and was delighting at the warm breeze round my head .... Until I realised I'd forgotten my hat! Did head straight back to the yard for it though!

I just don't hack out without hi viz, which is a bit hard, as no-one else at my yard bothers. Dark horses, dark clothes.

i think the hi viz revolution has to up it's anti around my part of the world
