Going through a few options at the moment as money is a little tight. Have considered moving yards but only as a last resort.
Plus it would be nice to have someone else help me out with my TB.
I am considering a sharer, please could people tell with me how it works with you - ie what use they have, payment etc.......
My mare is still young and green and needs a competent rider, she is very sensitive and she is not a novice ride. She jumps well, enjoys XC and can go nicely on the flat with patience. She hacks out alone or with company and is good in traffic. She rarely gets silly but can have her TB "moments".
She is currently on a livery yard with good facilities.

So questions are would there be a market for my mare for a sharer?
Would they be happy with 3 days a week?
What would they be paying for?
How long would the share have to be for? ie 6 months etc

Thank you

Hi. I have 2 sharers for my horse. One does 2 days and the other does 1 day. I found it quite difficult to find one person to do 3 days which is why i have 2. They both do the horse as if he was their own on their days and they have a contract which states dos and donts. The contract is for an indefinite period until either party no longer wishes to share. They also had a months trial before signing it.

My mares livery is £50 pw, i would be looking for a contrubution of around £20 PW does this sound resonable?
Also the days could be flexible.
