I've currently got a jumping saddle, which is brilliant for jumping in, but ultimately I want to event my boy, so I need something which I could do more flatwork in, so I was thinking a dressage saddle, but I'd also like to do some showing with him, and I don't think a jumping or a dressage saddle would be suitable for that, so I settled on a WH saddle.

What do people think about WH saddles? Would I be able to do both a bit of dressage and showing with one?

Both my saddles are WHs. I do showing, jumping, dressage and might have a go at some XC once the ground improves.

I have a Saddle Company and a Forrester, and before that a Silhoutte WH. All are very secure and I have jumped 3'3 in them. I do have bigger blocks for jumping to attach if I need them, though to date have been fine with the standard blocks.

A WH saddle can be a great all round saddle for doing a bit of everything in and I personally prefer them to GPs.

Thanks for the replies =]
I'm planning on keeping the jumping saddle as well, just need something a bit more aimed at flat work and thought a WH saddle would be a good multi use one :)
