considering 'hunting' is banned...

well today we went cubbing and we were stood on the road for ages turns out, hounds sniffed out fox underground and waited for it, and killed it.

isnt that a litttle weird seeing as it is banned to kkilll the foxes now? :confused:

If it was underground then No. It is illegal to chase & with it being underground they were not chasing it. But talking of weired that just somes up the whole law.
If it was a cruelty issue as they say it is then how come it is illegal to chase a hare but not a rabbit?? The only difference in them is the length of ears & legs & the same goes for you can chase rats but not mice. So why is it not cruel for rats or rabbits but it is for hare & mice?? And it is only cruel if a hound/dog chases but not a cat?????

* on issys behalf* i went on the hunt with her, we didnt actualy kill a fox, it was drag hunting and she misunderstood the whole concept
she says sorry if she has offended anyone etc
