WHat will help her poop? I usually add a little bit of oil to meals but hasn't worked yet (she has been having to really strain the past coupled of days)

Anything else I can add>

Liquid paraffin - you can get it from the chemist - why is she constipated though?

I believe its because of a gradual change in feed that I may not have balanced quite yet! I feed mainly raw but she still gets some kibble (my other eats raw, but I got her recently and was on kibble) and I am trying to phase it out. She gets so little kibble now and mainly meat I think its just the balancing of what I am giving her (no probs at all with my other dog but this little girl is fussier and I am still trying to find a balance with her)

She does go to the toilet but it does take her longer than it should! When it comes out it is a normal poo for her! Its just that it is slightly harder for her to go!

Ah I see - yes it can be tricky when they are adjusting to raw, obviously don't feed any bone for a couple of days at least and she should be OK. Mine have adjusted quite well to raw some days and kibble on others, I just can't get used to them producing 3 times as much poo after a kibble day!

I know its madness the way they poop on kibble isn't it! I still give them both a small amount of kibble mainly for convenience (I don't want them to become adverse to it in case of "emergencies") but I try to do raw as much as poss. I niavely presumed it would be easy enough to get her eating the same as my other but I suppose it will just take time! She is happy and healthy enough in all other way so I am not worried (yet)

The really keen raw feeders I know recommend pumpkin for constipation. I'd be more tempted to up the meat and lower the bone content of her food until she adjusts
