She's never really jumped a proper jump before - only twigs and things on verges out hacking. So this is her first round and first jumps really on my coloured boy (She hasent even been riding that long either!). She was very nervous about falling off but didnt let on till after as before she did her clear round someone had come off in the workers and been knocked out. But what can you say about her and her first jumps?

No really mean stuff please! I dont want to put her off! :D

Ah, good on them both, nice honest cob and your friend sat up nicely all the way round and had nice gentle hands which is a credit to her. A good start and nice to see her getting lots of encouragement.

Well done to her! Sat really well, still low hands which is hard for "newbies" . Way better than my first jumps! Only few things i would say is -maybe work on aiming towards the centre , especially on the straights? and letting her hands slide forwards with the action a little more ?? I'm not trying to be harsh, I'm at about the same stage lol! Just what jumped out at me, but she should be really proud and i <3 your horseeyy!! XXx

Im showing her the link with will def help to give her tips! We're going to do a few more clear rounds with her and me in the ring and then set her lose over a 1ft6/2ft course :)

I think she did very well indeed, I'm impressed, shes got a nice natural seat for someone not been riding long, she should be very proud of herself.

Really well done, you would never know it was her first time....even managed to get the horse to land on the correct leg for the next fence! Only poss. critisism would be to give a little more with her hands over the fences, but I am sure that will come with time....looking at that tomorrow I imagine!

Well done!
