I was doing some work on canter poles last night with jump blocks next to them so they look like jumps not the poles not raised if you understand. We started last week and just trotted over the poles, he went so well I left it there but yesterday we trotted and then cantered over them. Again he did well and I would have continued and possible put the final one up into a little cross pole except that people kept coming and watching us and he gets so excited, he would like to jump the poles that I didn't want an audience if I fell off so I stopped. Do you think I could continue tonight or should I leave it to next week in case he gets bored?

Sorry to ramble

I'd leave it for a bit... variety is best... and the more you do it th cockier he'll get and start to not think about what he's doing!

Sounds like he's making progress... pick it up again in a few days/next week.

It's always nice leaving it on a good note.
