Looking to see if anyone has experienced this. My 5 year old horse through misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis has ended up with contracted tendons in both front legs. Now changed vets and got diagnosis of this and recommended to take shoes off and leave him to try drop himself. I’ve looked for help from my physio and now doing daily stretches and bought my own ultrasound to help him.
I can only find information on foals having this but as he’s older it’s harder to change what’s happened over last few months.
Any info would be greatly appreciated <3

I would imagine it depends on how contracted they are but I should think you could get a reasonable stretch over time.

I keep thinking he’s improving then he’ll have a sore looking day. But for foals they medicate them so they aren’t in pain so they do stretch more and do remedial farrier treatment but none of this has been advised. Just trying to do everything I can for him. <3
