*takes deep breath and stands up*

"Hi, my name is Sandi_84 and I am a control freak" :o

I've decided today that I am actually a bit of a contol freak, sometimes over silly things (which is.... well silly :o) and sometimes over my or my horses safety (which I think is acceptable).

Anyone want to join me? :D

Hi, my name is Rebels, my horses my rules! And that includes mucking out in the correct manner and tacking up my way. Not that Im fussy ..i

*clears throat*
"Hi, My name is StormyMoments and i am also a control freak."

About everything and im not even ashamed to admit it especially when it comes to my horses!

and the way numnahs and pads are hung, how rugs are folded and the sequence everything is put on :o

Me too......in fact I have had to give up trying to find a sharer as I drove them all away with my craziness, my way or the highway and they all chose the road lol

Oh boy! You opened the flood gates!
Seriously though, is it just the female sex that are such control freaks?
I must be super control freak because I like everything just so and can get really annoyed if not done that way. You know the control freak motto ' If you want something doing properly, do it yourself!'

I think it's my horses fault really, before him if I had been any more laid back I would have been flat! :D Since getting him it's changed a fair bit and the shock realisation that I am a control freak hit me square in the face today
TBF though I'm still pretty laid back when it comes to the non-horsey bit of my life so maybe I'm not yet beyond help? :p

Things get broken and accidents happen if you dont do it the right way, it really is so much easier if you just learn to do it the right way!!

mine went on full livery for a month to give me a break as hubby said I was doing far too much.

I went up every day to muck them out and see that they'd been done properly :( :(

:D

I'm not a control freak. I just like things 'just so'. ;) :D

I think I am a control freak. I find it quite difficult to hand over care of my boy. I am now on a yard where I have help if needed, and she follows my instructions to the letter, phew!

I am TRYING to let go of being a control freak - I am a Recovering Control Freak.

My mission is to survive Shy being on Full Livery for one day every week - and so far it's going to plan (2 months in). It costs me the same in fuel as to use the FL option, and it means I have a lie in, and a day off. With hubs and the dogs, and maybe Sunday Lunch.

Tbh, i struggle with what to do with myself, as I have a very set routine, but the YO is fab, and he hasn't dropped dead yet cos I'm not there.

*deep breath*
My names patchypony and im a control freak!

It gets abit silly sometimes. Everything has to be done my way and to a pre approved plan. I must be a nightmare to live with :P

**hand up** absolutly - my girl has been on full livery for the last 2 months as I've been laid up and I'm going mad cause she's not being done how 'I' do her. Don't get me wrong she's being well looked after and am really grateful but, arghh I miss doing her myself :D

I also plan things - the foal that's due in about 4-6 weeks I've been planning for about 3 years:eek:

My name is Martlin and I won't travel as a passenger in a car... I fear I might be a control freak.

I will but not without making 'helpful' suggestions alternated with terrified noises. Hmm.

I'd have said I was pretty laid back but now you've got me wondering if I am, infact, so much of a control freak I can't even recognise it

Do you like flying? Or does it bother you you can't get off when you want to?
I'm considering a pilot's license :D

I hate passengering in ANYTHING.
Went on a ferry for the first time in years last year, middle of the night job, couldn't possibly have any sort of rest, had to be standing outside so that I could see what was happening and make sure nothing went wrong:(
Trains I can sort of cope with.
Buses in towns are ok-ish.
Coaches? Nightmare!
Planes? Well it doesn't help that I've never been on an incident-free flight but I loathe the things.

Redmone checking into the control freak clinic. ***salutes***

Not a good passenger in anything, and god help you if you're stood in the wrong place in MY kitchen!!!

Actually struggle riding horses because they can think for themselves! That's sort of my therapy!!!!

Thank goodness my job involves telling people what to do! :-)
