You aren't supposed to feed them cooking apples as they are too sour and can cause colic.

Yes they are fine, providing they aren't fed in large quantities

You can feed cooking apples. However not in large quantities and I would suggest not every day. I feed cooking apples though try to feed normal apples when I can.

I have been giving mine a couple or so for a goooood few years.
Chopped into dinners.

Dont give them a bucket load!

Does make them frotthy at the mouth though!!!
