Evening all!
I'm thinking I need to relent and buy a fly rug (incl. neck) for my horse, as all the horse flies of Suffolk seem to be feasting on His Lordship's neck and fly repellants don't seem to be doing the job between applications.
I've been reluctant to use such rugs before because I generally prefer him to be rugless but also because he's naturally a hot horse - so can anyone recommend a good fly rug that absolutely won't heat him up at all?
I don't want one that's a 'hood' type or has a face cover, just a normal rug with either a neck attachment or a combo neck. Masta and Rambo tend not to be great fits on him, a Mark Todd cut fits him well.
Thanks in advance
