As promised, here are some pics of the new boy. He travelled really well and is settling in fine. He arrived yesterday afternoon so I just let him settle in his stable overnight. This morning he went out after I took these pics and at the moment is in a paddock on his own next to some young mares who were very interested in him! Lunged him this afternoon to get him used to the new arena and tried on lots of Tia's old rugs. Luckily he is fitting into the 6'6 but the 6'9 drown him.

What do ya think of him? I tried to get my mum to take some conformation pics but im not sure if the angles are good enough.

He's a smasher Jojo!! Really nice looking horse! Loving the coloured mare sniffing him too!! You have an eye for gorgeous coloured don't you :)

He's lovely. What a smasher! Lucky you....I wonder if OH would notice if I sneaked in just one more....hmmm
And off topic.. Kitsune you're here - not banned? Good.

Thanks Kitsune! I do love my coloureds! Nice to see you have returned :)

He does look a bit freaked in the first couple when he first walked out but he seems a rather relaxed boy.

gorgeous - how old etc? need vital stats! :)

Hehe thanks! He is 7yrs old 15.2hh ISH and his old owner did prelim/novice dressage and hacking with him but was selling him because she wants a horse that will go further in dressage. She sent him to a yard to be sold for her and they said that basically she wants a warmblood with flashy paces now but they think he could easily do elementary if not further which is about the level I would be comfortable at anyway! He is a keen jumper too but hasnt done much of that this last year. Not sure how scopey he is but i'd be happy jumping up to 3ft ish.

They said he is very safe out hacking and nothing really phases him! :)

Been waiting for this thread after what happened to your mare. I think he's lovely and like the way he singled out the lovely coloured mare too! He's got great markings. Looks like he's a laid back sort too. Here's to happy times with him.
