Does anyone know if this is safe to use in mares that are hopefully in foal? There is nothing on the data sheets about this and the mare appears to have lice and I want to treat her before she rubs her mane out
My shetland had lice and it was a nightmare to get rid of them. I used Coopers, but his mane and tail were so thick I had to use it over and over again.
At this time of year, I would suggest you buy a Shampoo that kills lice and give her several really good baths, then you don't need to worry about the toxicity of Coopers.
