Coopers spot on kills horse lice?

Has anyone had experience of using coopers spot on to kill horse lice?

I have just bought a 10monthhe old filly last Monday and she is riddled in lice. she hasn't been handled much an I'm just starting to gain her trust. I have tried to use Deosec, it is fantastic they where dying in front of my eyes but my youngster was freaking out with the smell/spray bottle

so if anyone has used coopers spot on to kill horse lice, I would love to hear from you

Yes, ive used it successfully on mine, does a really good job

I bought some Coopers today and was told it is no longer available, as they have run out of a main ingredient - is that right? I got the last bottle in the store apparently.

Thanks for your reply guys. Was it cooper spot on or fly and lice spray. The fly an lice spray is for horses but the spot on is only licensed in cattle and sheep?

My vet said she didn't think the spot on would work for lice. But I have found others that have said different, I just wanna check it works.

So if any1 has had experience with the spot on and lice I would love to hear x x x

Used spot on for sheep and cattle on a youngster we bought that was riddled with lice. Was amazing, totally cleared it very quickly and no adverse reactions
