Coopers spot on

I have a horse with sweet itch and am already planning ahead! Along with electric fencing and rugs, I also use spot on treatment, Freedom 45, which is for horses but only available from USA and is a bit of a pain to try and get it shipped here. I've heard that Coopers Spot on for cattle is also good for SI and my local agri merchant stocks it, however is it the red box (2%) or yellow box (1%) or does it matter?

I have never seen it in a red 2% box! Yellow (and I have just checked it is 1%) is what is available here as far as I am aware. I use it on cattle and sheep and will also try it on my (new) SI pony this year.

I have the yellow box one. Tried it last year with high hopes but was disappointed. Had to go back to good old benzyl benzoate in the end.

Never seen that before. The dose rate is the same so don't see how you would over dose him. I'd go for the yellow myself just because I've used it on several horses and not killed or maimed anything yet!!
