COPD & fields help pls

Ive moved back to old yard and put my horse in field she was in before. All is well except when I went to check on her tonight. There are bits of straw everwhere in this field. It seems that the field has been used to grow straw last year. Should a horse with bad COPD be grazing in there or should I move her.
