my horse had thick discharge and was coughing but also off colour no temp but shaking all over and off food , vets came given ventepulim incase of copd flare up as had suffered this in past , some crackles on chest also , treated with meds, coughing now less near enough gone but coughing thick yellow mucus up , started on antibiotica and vets back out again to check him, worried incase not just a flare up of copd

Well better out than in (the mucus) The Ventapulmin must be working.

Sounds like a flare up, vet has obviously checked and thinks along those lines.
