Iv just taken on a pony for company for my mare and hes come off the moor and has lice.
Iv seen that a few people on here have used this product , although it isnt licensed for horses.
Where am I able to get it from? When I try and buy it online its asking me for details of my herd of cows, but obviously I dont have cows!
Am I just going to have to get the vet out , or is there a way of getting it somehow? or something else I can use with good reviews?
Thanks
:)

Where are you in the south west? They sell the horse one in Mole Valley - Cullompton, as I was thinking about getting it for my mare who gets sweetitch. You can also buy it on line - google Coopers Fly Repellant Plus.

Hi, Im near Tavistock.
I guess Ill just get the horse one, but people I know who have tried it didnt have much luck :(
Was hoping I could get the spot on treatment instead as people say this works well.
But unless I can make up a herd number and holding number they wont let me buy it :)

Yes, use a cloth and go over the whole pony, especially base of mane/forelock and all the other difficult to reach bits. Then stand back and watch lice die ha ha!

You can get the cattle one from Coutrywide or similiar stores, thats were I got mine. Much easier for more than one horse and much more economical!

They asked if I knew what I was doing and for a postcode. To which I said yes (we do actually have cattle as well) They didnt ask for a holding number. Just bought a huge bottle of Panacur (for sheep and cattle) as again cheaper when doing lots of horses and its EXACTLY the same stuff. If it says equine on it then add at least £10!!
