I've got the Whal ones but they're only for trimming thin feathers, billy goats gruff beards and ears. Do you mean those ones or propper autumn clipping cordless ones?????
well anything that will like you say do feathers/beards, bridle paths etc - not hairy cobbies but IDxTB and WB feathers/beards!
Tried to do it neatly with my cordless clippers and ended up resorting to the old scissors and comb method
Deffo recommend the Whal one's they're purple and hold 20 to 30 mins charge and retail around £45 - £50. I've had mine for 2 years. Whal are reasonable for sharpening the blades (about £6 and by return post) and servicing too - did my 1st service as goodwill!!! My boy is a very hairy cob!!! And I originally got the clippers to keep his feathers trimmed and neat but its too much hassle so let them grow again!!!! Spent more time triming than anything else!!!
Yeh, the Wahl Pro Series ones are good (purple ones), mine lasted for years. Now I've just bought the new Lister Legato ones and they are excellent. Ordered mine from Clippersharp and they arrived the next day.
