I was told by my instructor last night that I need to strengthen my core so that I don't get pulled forward by my very strong Section D in canter when he tanks off.

Apart from the usual Pilates ball, does anybody have any exercises that I can do at home once a day or something?

Pilates is great, I would recommend classes to get you working correctly if you haven't done it before.
One of the simplest things to do at home for core strength would be planking! Start with 20 secs or whatever you can manage and build up.

Plank for sure, sit ups, crunches etc are useful if you balance them with back raises so that you work front and back. But the work on a ball (you can buy them cheap enough on line), especially balance work is great.

My issue with the ball is space haha!! I don't really have anywhere to store it/use it
