We went to the Great Yorkshire Showground on Sunday and had a sucessful and fun day at the Riding Club championship, but the weather was bright and windy.

As a result, Star's eye was inflamed again and I kept her in Sunday night with a dose of the antibiotic drops which the vet left me.

The vet is involved again, and a tiny ulcer has returned - but I need a really good fly mask to cut down glare and wind. At this rate, Star won't be able to be turned out, because of the weather inflaming the eye.

Any recommendations? I remember seeing one with circular eye shields which covered each eye...

Janette - have a dig through the threads coz there was a thread that took readers to an American site where they make eye masks specifically for this sort of eye condition rather than overall masks that try to just keep flies away as a comfort to the horse. I was going to buy one but I think you have to ring them up to order it and they are California and I wasn't sure how the time zones worked to catch their office hours! Good luck x
