Hello! Few pics to feast your eyes on, if you please!

All dogs have been going really well as usual. Jake is turning into 'the next Ellie' not my comments, but a comment from others on the shoot! Ellie is known as the 'if it's there, she'll find it' dog on the shoot and has been called upon from the beating line many-a-time to look for the lost bird or two! So pleased with my boy!

Anyway - these are from November (i think) and some from last weekend. I lost my camera beginning of December and found it last week!

Your dogs are absolutely gorgeous. I have no idea about shooting anything but I always love looking at your photos because they are just blooming gorgeous. xx
 
LOL thank you that's so lovely!

You should give it a go! Not the actual shooting - but actually attending a shoot as a beater :D it's a fantastic way of life. Happy, healthy and you'll meet some great people ;):p:D
 
I would love to get Chlo out about about (when she can walk again that is...!) but shes a bit old to learn now seeing as she is 2 and still cant do down. Or drop. LOL.

Do you breed your own spangles? We're half heartedly looking for a puppy and I basically want one that looks like yours...!
 
Ah bless Chloe - hope she's doing ok?

We have bred from Ellie (and have her daughter, Fern) and Jake and Daisy had a litter last September. I have a bitch from that litter(Tean), as does my dad( Tilly).

Jake is a rescue, as is Daisy and Lucy!

If you're serious about looking for a Springer/cocker from working strain - I have contacts!!! :D
 
I should get Henry in here to look at those dogs sitting down and shutting up and behaving, Henry:p One day, he will be that well trained and reliable... probably in about ten years time...:cool:

How are the poopies getting on?:)

I DEMAND puppy pictures! Just because they're near in age to my 2 hooligans and I'm obsessed with spangles :o How tall are they?

Don't know how you manage to work more than one dog and take pics at once though, I struggle to just stay upright with my 2 :D

P.S I've got the same pink sock and toppers as yours :p but i'm loving the pink whistles!

LOL can be a bit of a mission but Kensa doesn't require a lead (famous last words!) 99.9% of the time so it's only the spangles i have to contain with leads.

I have a slight obsession with shooting socks! I have so many pairs!

Pink Whistles are from Black Gundog - they are the Breast Cancer Awareness ones. I've Also got Purple, Green, Yellow & Black!! Another fetish maybe?! lol :rolleyes:

I can't see the pics atm, i'm at work! Although, i believe it was Jake with a bloody chest/leg? Not his blood - was from a bird. Sorry should have explained that! I don't make my dogs work with open wounds - honest!! :eek::rolleyes:;):D:D

I only have a pink, a black, and an orange whistle:( Although that's quite good going I guess since I only have the one dog:D

I'm going this weekend too, going to a local shoot **does a little excited dance** Am a bit scared to be going to a brand new shoot on their last day, but at least it means they will have ages to forget about it if Henry is naughty:D
 
N - We have several days left, crammed in as per usual! I hate it when it's over! Means all the hard work starts again :cool: This is Maisey's summer, training, training, traning, traning ... an more training :rolleyes::rolleyes::D

Spud - PICS!!!! You'll be fine! He will surprise you - in a good way! There is no such thing as a perfect dog - and how boring would that be anyway! It has been known for Jake to 'beagle' when he's chasing a strong runner. Very amusing!

You both MUST come to Cornwall next season :D

S_A - I would really love to come to Cornwall next season - hopefully Purdey will be a bit steadier by then too:rolleyes:
