Cornwall - recommendations?

At the end of this month I am packing up with my puppy for a well deserved break to Cornwall!
Can anyone recommend any dog-friendly pubs around the Liskeard area and some unmissable dog walks?

I have visited the area countless times previously due to family however this is the first time with little pup in tow!

Mt Edgcumbe, Whitsand Bay, Cardinham Woods, Dartmoor to name a few?! I don't know any places in/close to Liskeard but the above are all within 30m driving distance.
