Correct bridle / clothing for youncoloured / sports horse classes plz!

Hi I have been advised to come on this section as maybe someone can help me!!?
I have a rising two coloured warmblood gelding who I want to show in coloured classes but maybe some sports horse classes. I was wondering what people's opinions were as to browband / noseband style for each type of class and also what should I wear?

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Sporthorse - plain hunter type bridle, no bling or diamonds!
plaited and smart
You - tweed, hat, tie and dark / neutral trousers!
And carry a whip, plus boots you can run in, gloves and hairnet!

You can do bling in Sportshorse, but subtle.
Here is my now rising 4yo, as a yearling winning the Sportshorse Yearling Class at Royal Norfolk.

Echo both the above. Definately no bling as in diamantee but H's browband is fine, or plain leather. Spider had a plaited leather one which looked nice.
With a coloured, it is better to wear darker, rather than paler trousers to differentiate between your legs and his!
Some coloured horses will be wearing coloured browbands but you need to show him in the manner of his type, ie if he's a sporthorse, dress him as such, if he's a riding pony......and so on.
If you qualify for either the BSPA or CHAPS evening champs, it is BLING ALL THE WAY!!!!!

Then, of course, if you do the BEF Futurity, it's white tops! With dark horses, white trousers too, but I prefer darker trousers with a coloured for the same reason as above.

In the first two pics he's a 3yr old, had outgrown his in hand bridle and so I used a riding bridle with a single lead. As a yearling, bottom pic, and 2yr old he had his in hand bridle.

Yes exactly what bananaman said. With a coloured go for darker trousers, even at county level.
The odd show, like the old Royal show, has a 'proper' sporthorse class, where you are expected to wear whites. I would wear a shirt polo shirt and black trousers and a stout pair of boots for running in.
For county shows, we use a plain in hand bridle, not quite as wide in the leather as the hunters would have, and always carry a showing cane. I wear brown trousers, tweed jacket, shirt and tie, trilby.

For coloured classes, definatly browband according to type, eg sporthose, hunter, hack etc
