correct dress for a pc member ( plus any other tips please)

what is the correct dress for a pc member under 18?
also my pony is a connemarra ( we hope :S he isnt registerd) should his mane be plaited? and if so how?

Tweed jacket and pony club tie, personally i like to see horses plaited regardless of breeding, as it is a sign of respect to the meet hosts and land owners (so i was told) if your pony's mane is long can you do a running plait?

i will give it a try last time i only managed it halfway down his mane even though its quite long
also is it ok to wear a bp over my jacket?

tweed jacket, beige breeches, black boots,(or boots and clean chaps if you have to) shirt and pc tie. good hat (skull with a cover) pony .. clean, smart plaited if you can,, clean tack brown or black numnah. say hello to masters, pay your cap, do ask for a nanny if you need/want one. keep out of hounds way at all time. sufficient brakes!!! and have a lovely day!!! back protectors are fine either under or over jacket. if you have hunted before then go for it! if you and pony havent hunted before ask sec for a nanny .. they will explain it all and make it fun. you can jump what you are happy to and you can go round what is too big. give way to the regulars, dont cause a pile up (if you can help it) say thank you to anyone who has helped you , and try to say goodnite/thankyou when you leave! Enjoy ..

I just wear a tweed jacket, a white stock (although it is probably more appropriate to wear a PC tie... others do :L) and beige jods and black gaiters and jodphur boots, gloves and a navy hat.

My OH is a nanny for our hunt and she thoroughly enjoys it especially when you start off with someone all anxious and by the end of the season they are giving leads to the adults Perhaps if OP gives us an idea of which hunt, someone here might be able to give more specific advice as to country and local customs?
