Correct dress

For in Hand coloured.
Last show I worn what I rode hattie in, hacking jacket, shirt and tie, blue velvet hat with flesh coloured strap, but put black trousers over my jods. Gyp has white legs.
But this weekend I am only showing Gyp in hand.
Should I still wear the same as above or can I wear a waitcoat rather then the jacket and should I wear my riding hat or can I wear a kind of west country rain hat. The brown ones with a wide brin and a feather on the side?

You should stay in your tweed, but can change your hat (although if you're under 16 some shows may insist you still wear a riding hat) - the hat you've suggested sounds fine. Good luck.

Great thank you. I must remember to get my jacket back from the cleaners then. I'm over 16 but may still wear my riding hat depends how lively Gyp is.
