ERA would like to apologise for the implication in our early post that we were communicating on behalf of BE, it was ERA that were seeking to understand riders view on Unclassified Results in order to be able to better represent rider views to BE. BE have asked us to publish the following correction, which we are happy to do:

British Eventing unaffiliated competition research - correction
British Eventing would like to correct recent Facebook and Forum postings from the Event Riders Association regarding the discussion of Unclassified Results. ERA expressed an interest in conducting further research in this area; we would like to clarify that this was not a direct request from BE although of course we are very interested to hear from ERA members.
Research carried out by BE at unaffiliated horse trials showed that one of the reasons riders compete in unaffiliated competitions is that the result is not recorded against the horses British Eventing record.
Therefore BE are interested to find out if there would be a desire for training classes at various levels with Unclassified Results where horses results are not recorded. From this BE will establish whether or not this system would be beneficial in the production of Event horses.
