Hello

Not sure if I have posted in the correct section....

I was just wondering if anyone has had or knows of any horses that have had mechanical pelvis problems helped by corrective shoeing? (not extreme just minor is fine).

If so can I please get the details and if people know of any reasons why this cannot be done I would be interested too.

Thanks very much

In my experience with my horse it can sometimes be lameness further down the leg that can cause pelvis/sacroiliac probs, and can also be caused by poor foot balance, so once we got more heel support and width on the hind shoes, to encourage the horse to sit and take more weight behind, you can start to strengthen them up and do various exercises as well to help.
