I am sure this has been brought up many times, but.. Does it actually work for horses? Anyone with succsess stories or not?
Reason I ask is because i bought a small tub of my dog. She only has 3 legs and gets stiff after a walk or lots of playing. Her front end collapses sometimes!! Tried this Cortaflex HA for the last 5 days and I have actually seen an improvement! She has not collapsed and has managed to stay stiff free pretty much after a good walk. I am impressed!!
So now thinking should I go for the expense of trying it on my horse (equine version of course). Even OH has ordered the human version after seeing the dogs improvement.
Any horse experiences on this that you have I would love to hear thanks

I have had fab results with Cortaflex and Cortaflex HA with my horses. I tried loads before I found Cortaflex and it is the only joint supplementyu can see a difference in a short space of time. I use HA if there is a problem and normal Cortaflex on the other 2 for maintenance

I maintain mine on regular cortaflex but if and when he gets stiffer, I'll definitely bite the bullet and switch the Cortaflex HA - it's meant to have amazing results.

Lets put it this way, 18 months ago we thought that there was a point where my horse was so severely lame from his spavin that we thought we would loose him.

On recommendation i put him on cortaflex, we had him reassessed 4 weeks ago and he has made a 200% improvement and is now back to full work. My vet even went as far as saying "forget him being a ex racehorse, hes more like a dressage horse!!"

I swear by this stuff, its both mine and indi's savior.

I use Cortavet as a preventative. I think what works for some doesnt for others. My old mare had ringbone and she was on the liquid cortavet and I didnt see a difference. Put her on Feedmarks Flexamine and she was a spring chicken!

I buy the US equivalent, Corta-Flx, in the liquid form and it's about half the price including postage. It has been said that it's not as strong as the UK version, but it has done my arthritic mare a lot of good. I also use Pernamax, which got her 90% mobile, and Corta-Flx has made up the remaining 10%, so she is fit as a flea!

They do a dog version of Pernamax if you're interested:

Am intrested as I already have my old girl (of 19 and still going strong) on the newmarket joint sup and has been on it for years purely as a preventative (a good job done too). Though the last 6mths I have noticed she has become more shorter in her gaits.
So am wondering if cortaflex or the HA could be a better change or step up if you like?
I did have vet out to check her and he could not pick up any obvious problems, so on assumption it's just age related and needing a little more help.

I am very tempted to try it, infact i think my mind is made up lol, to get out of my system the humming n hahhing.
So whats the typical price for a tub? (I dont know what size tubs they do). Sorry for being lazy as not done home work but no harm in asking you guys first
