My beloved old boy is struggling a little bit. He's not actually old but high mileage and he's had a tough life. Pretty much retired, he just hacks now and then they are pretty quiet ones.
He is on Equine Americas Buteless which for the past few years has been a god send but recently he's felt a bit stiff and I'm very keen to help him out a bit more.
I've looked at Cortaflex and always thought of it as being the best supplement but have also been looking at Aviforms site.
I'm not sure which to go for? I'm tight on money so price is a factor but which is best?

I've used cortaflex but didn't notice any difference in my horse. My vet has said my horse would benefit from a joint supplement and suggested Nutriquin (only available from vets, non-prescription). I only started S on it yesterday so can't comment on how good it is but vet rated it over cortaflex

Neither. I used to use Global herbs till I saw the reviews on Equimins F/J So now I have ordered some and see if it lives up to its name for my oldie.

Read some of these reviews, there are lots of joint supplements on the market. You want to research them all then decided, compare the ingredients and the feedback. I can only recommend one has I have seen the difference on and off it and they give you a full money back guarantee.

Here are some H&H readers reviews on things to help joints

My friend uses botswalia on her horse who tends to get bit stiff with touch of arthritis without it. She tried supplease gold afterwards but wasn't as good so she went back to Botswalia.

I have a 22 year old tried them all must say I tried equmims Flexijont and their Inflam-e- rase and im really impressed horse stride is longer and is sound. The other I found really good supplezze gold and premier flex. Tried riaflex waste of time same with cortaflex joint surpreme flex vetroflex but liked vetrofen. This horse has major leg problem.
