Please could someone enlighten me on this? I thought the point of the yellow top cortaflex was that it contained HA for more effect and so is more expensive, but now lots of the websites say that the green top one has HA now too? But it is still cheaper..

Sorry am very confused!

I've never tried the HA but mine are on the "normal" Cortaflex Powder- previously they were on a Vet grade Glucosamine HCI and Cortaflex has made a much bigger difference to them and they feel loads better- that's all i can say! i think the nomal one says it is fortified with HA but tbh i'm not very scientific at all, so i haven't a clue what that means at all!!
And p.s i don't work for Equine America lol!

We use CortaVET - and it's made a huge difference. Mare has been on it for nearly 2 years now. We get ours from the vet, and yes it's expensive, so we only give it other day now as a maintenance dose and there hasn't been any adverse reaction.

I found out from another member on here that the HA version is stronger and more suitable for horses that already have a joint problem whereas the normal Cortaflex is a preventative. I have just changed to the HA (ouch my purse) and am seeing if I notice a difference.

He's been on both before but thought maybe as he's working hard this summer to get the one with HA in as it is more effective/stronger, but I am confused because now they both seem to have it?!
