Hi,

Is Cortaflex as effective as it claims? I have TB with arthritic fetlocks - do you think this would help? Any success stories please?

I think different products work for different horses. My old mare had bad ringbone and was on cortavet liquid at first and I never noticed any difference. When my insurance ran out I bought Feedmark flexamine as it was on offer and god it was scary, she was like a spring chicken. I'd bought her with the condition and she was all laid back but I suppose pain free she was a bit of a handfull! My friend feeds Synequin??? I think its that and although its very expensive she really rates it.
I do feed cortavet to my 8 yr old as a preventative though, he's had it for the last 3 yrs. Suppose it just makes me feel better.

It may do, I think it depends on the individual. some people swear by it whilst others say other products are better. I'm afraid its a case of trying it out - it can't hurt other than your pocket !

I've got a horse on it and he's so much bettr than he was and mu has recently put her dog on it because she has suspected arthritis (somwhere in either her back/pelvis/hip) and after a week it's done her the world of good!

I have a 20yr old tb that is really stiff behind and since starting cortaflex liquid I have seen an amazing difference. Bloody expensive but it has proved invaluble in keeping him going!

I have a 17yr old welshie with a lot of aches and pains, been on cortaflex for 3 years and i wouldnt be without it. Whenever Ive run out and cant get hold of any, he is less happy in his work and less flexable with his carrot stretches. Its worth the money IMHO.
