no sorry i should explain more. I put my dog on it and he got a little wild but i just put that down to him feeling better in himself. Then was at the saddlers yesterday and someone was saying that a friend had put her horse on it and she found he got naughty she had not changed anything other that put him on it.She took him off it for a few weeks and he went back to his old self.I just wanted to know if anyone else had come across it.
I can only assume then that it worked and that the horse was actually feeling normal and had no discomfort!! Maybe she has never felt him like this before and that is his true personality??!
The only reason I could think of is if the horse if feeling better for being on the supplement, so feeling good. Chex has been a nightmare since he's been on danilon for his arthritis, now he's not in pain!
nope, my ponio has been on powder for nearly 2 years and has recently swapped to liquid and there has been no change in 'livelyness' of him, just that he feels a bit more supple!
post was interesting, i put one of my endurance horses on it last year and he went a bit silly, he hadn.t had any change in work feed etc, i took him off it and now use equiflex and he back to himself, still cant understand what was in it to make him behave like that, another unexplained mystery
My old mare was on cortavet and it made no difference to her but Feedmarks Flexamine sent her a silly. I presumed that she felt good and that was probably how she would have been minus her problems.
Well when I put one of mine on NAF's Superflex I guess he went a bit "mad" just because he was obivously feeling supple! I certainly noticed when I took him eventing soon after putting him on it - he's never launched out of the XC start box so quick! And the dressage was dreadful, he simply couldnt stand still - not like him at all!
So I guess the only reason a horse may seem "mad" is if the supplement is working and they feel agile again?!
