cosequin or synequin or flexadin or premierflex ha or other? for horse with arthritis

as title really, been looking on internet and seen about the following supplements: cosequin, synequin, flexadin and premierflex ha.
my horse has just been diagnosed with arthritis in one knee, had injection in it, now need to buy a supplement for him and not sure which is best??

Senequin and Cosequin are recommended by vets, as they have actual scientific backing behind them. So look at the ingredients and find a cheaper alternative...

Riaflex complete and suppleaze gold are very well received on here by others. Just use the search feature on this forum and you will see lots of info regarding them!

one of my mares was prescribed synequin - didnt make the slightest differenced to her.

another of my mares was guinea pig for the Naf 5* superflex vet, which was good but i dont know if that was given the go ahead
 
I use cosequin and it seems to be helping although haven't been using it for that long.

Did you the dog version of cosequin for my old Bernese Mountain Dog and it made a HUGE difference, so hoping its going to do the same for my pony.
 
My 23yr old is doing fine on Cosequin. Used this product after attending an evening talk laid on by my vets. Cosequin did a good presentation, to include all the scientific research and evidence. It's impossible to say if it's doing the bizz with a single horse because you don't have a "control" to compare. But, as I said, my 23 yr old is doing really well on it and there's no sign any more of the early stiffness he was developing in one front leg/shoulder. Not cheap though!
 
Ok here goes my horse has djd and collatral ligament damage i have tried nearly every supplement on the market in england and abroad iv spend so much money its untrue iv tried all above and loads more the best ones that work so far are recovery eq ha from amercia very expensive vetrofen again the amount my horse needs expensive suppleezze gold good but seem to ware of after a while also premierflex good but didnt keep my horse sound cosequin didnt work at all but all horses are different you just have to find the right one for your horse hope your credit card is good because you can spend huge amounts im still looking to see if i can find anything better but cheaper im lucky im useing my boyfriend credit card just hide the bill when it comes in [it works for me]
