cost of gelding

rang vets today to try and get price on gelding does this sound expensive

£120 for the gelding
£98 for dugs and being put under
£36 for call out a week after to check wound ect

it is to geld a section a who is about a year and a half old now great to compair prices

Ring around! I had a quote of £375 all in from my vet's surgery, no difference in price if I took my colt there or had him done at home (they either charged a days livery or a callout). I called a different vet, £150 at home if it was all straightforward, or if I took him to one of their "castration clinics" it was £75! So I did! That was in Kent, so probably a bit out of your way but other surgeries may do the same.
