I'm paying £2.50 per bale (and it is lovely clean and weed free). However the supplier I got mine from last year wanted £3.25 per bale, when I contacted him in October, so I shopped around.

I pay £2 a bale from a small holding, it's the best meadow hay I've ever cvome across. So much so that the people on my yard guarantee the small holder we will buy every bale he produces. Seriously I've never had a duff bale either.

My OH makes my hay and we sell surplus for 1.75 -2.00 depending on quality and we make money from it so any more than 2.50 is daylight robbery

Paid 66p/bale for our own to be cut last two years. Last years was brill, this years was not so good but edible. Now selling it on to friends at 75p/bale! Also selling half lambs at £30 and have been told over and again it should be way more! Really I am rubbish at making money.
