Our current stable block is on its last legs! The people who had the house before us were masters at bodging things - if there was a shortcut, they took it! So the house has been done room by room, now the stables turn as they won't last another winter 
Basically they didn't lay the concrete floor thick enough so the building is literally splitting in 2....as well as needing a new roof so starting again.
Ideally we are wanting block/brick built and have had a local guy come round but just waiting on his quote. We are looking at having 4 stables and a tack room. Has anyone had similar done recently? Brick or wood - and what sort of price roughly/timescale?
We're in Lincolnshire so if anyone has any recommendations please feel free to share!
