Cost of our horseygear rising fast!

It the time of year again where i have to make my dreaded birthday list ( man im getting old ! ) and im pretty gobsmacked to see that my usual items have gone up so much this year!!!!!

For example....

Ariat bromont boots ( insulated ) i paid 164.95 when i got them they now knock out at 210.00
Dublin supefit jods were last year 24.99- now cost 29.99
Roecki chester gloves were 21.50 now 24.75
Mark todd blouson i last got was 34.99 now its 44.95

There are just a few examples and im pretty shocked that prices of equine gear have risen like this considering the state of things at the moment.

Has anyone else noticed there usual buys going up ???

Sadly its all to do with everything being made in china. They charge in dollars and of course the pound has slipped badly against the dollar. So try to buy things made in the uk (if you can ha ha)

I was in the market for a really good pair of riding boots found a pair of de niros that fitted in leg but were a little bit large in the foot at £360 asked if I could order them in a size smaller and was told they now retail at £740

decided I could deal with wearing an extra pair of socks
