Question in the title really. For those of you on part livery, what do you pay and what services do you get? For those who pay on an ad hoc basis for someone to do their horse, what do you pay and for what?
I pay £285 a month for part livery mon-fri. That's bring in/ turn out, muck out or poo pick field, change rugs, make up feeds and haynets and give them. I don't buy hay or bedding but I do buy my own feed. Hope that makes sense!! Not bad I think esp since i'm less than 20 miles from central london!! x
£1 bring in or turnout including giving feed and changing jarmies.
£5 per day full service with turnout and bring in, full muck out, haynets, water, hooves picked, fed etc.
Ad-hoc prices over and above £15 diy stable & grazing.
I'm on DIY usually but if I need the yard to do something I pay as follows:
Bring in/turn out (no rug change or other) £1 per time
BI/TO with rug change/pick feet out etc £2 per time
Muck out/skip out £6 a day
Part livery per day £9 (inc bring in, turn out, rug changes where needed, muck out, do haynets and put in, change water, make up and give feeds)
Field check £1
Field check and feed £2
Exercise £10 for 30 mins (lunging)
Put hay net in/top up water/similar £1
I pay £55 per week for summer part livery. Mare is in during the day and out nights.
Includes:-
Fetch in and turn out
Hard feed
Hay
Shavings
Field poo-picked
Quick brush and feet picked out
Rugging/unrugging
Without the cost of a stable, I pay £32 a week for five day full livery, services only (ie. turn out, rugs, full muck out, hays & feeds made up, bring in, feet washed and picked out).
It's not 'impeccable' service by any means but I don't have the time for DIY.

I think (not certain because they have just gone out 24/7 so prices changed) we pay £60 a week, this means:
Monday-Friday
Our field is poo picked
Our horses are fed (feed is provided)
Haylage is fed and provided
They are exercised (they are on working livery so either by clients of member of staff)
They are Rugged
Saturday-Sunday
We poo pick
We feed (allthough feed still provided)
We haylage (hay still provided)
We ride them allthough they are still used in the RS in the morning
I pay about £146 per month for part livery services which is the following done mon - fri, rug changes, turn out, bring in, muck out, haying, watering, making up and giving feeds. We buy our own feed and pay £120 per month for stable rent and the hay and straw bill is split between the liveries (you can opt to get your own also. But ours is all on site and suits me well. This is Kent based.
It's far more expensive in the UK, or I am undercharging!
My grass boarders pay $175 a month (that's approximately 85 GBP give or take, and below average for this area) for FULL management (in other words I treat the horse as I do my own) on grass, including handling for farrier/vet etc, hay, grain but no stabling or riding. In fact the boarders are stabled during the day as the flies are horrendous, but as it is my choice then I wouldn't dream of charging owners for the service. It's just like having extra horses of my own. Stabling at night including all that goes with that, is $240 a month.
Confusingly, part board (livery) here seems to mean the same as leasing/sharing, you pay a certain amount per month to ride the horse a set amount of hours per week.
I pay £120 per month for DIY livery - For that I get grazing, a stable and use of the school. I do all the work (including poo picking her paddock) and provide my own hay, feed and bedding.
Additional services
£2 - bring in or turn out.
£6 - per day to muckout/hay/feed and water.
£6 - 30mins exercise.
