Cost of point to point racing.

Its the time of year I look forward to now, point to point race meetings in the area, a really good day out. :D:D
I go with my husband and my parents. Car park has always been around £20.

I read today on the pointing web site that the cost is now £10 per person. That now means the day will cost us double.:(:eek::(:eek:

I do understand that if you are on your own £20 for the car is too much, but surely this way is pricing the families out of point to point which is such a shame.
Any thoughts?

I would have gone for a look-see if it was for four people just £20 parking and no entry fee, but £40 if I were to take the family - nope :eek::(
 
Its all in the South East. Detling, Charing, Aldington are all doing this. The only ones that are not in this area is Peper Harrow and Penshurst. Just means the fun days out with my mum and dad wont happen cos we cant afford it.
 
Wow that is pretty steep! Its so sad as it will eventually put the sport out if nobody can afford to come & watch :(
