Cost of point to pointing qualification ?

Can anyone tell me what is the usual cost of getting a point to point qualifaction from a hunt - or even more helpfully what it would cost to qualify 3 horses in the same ownership ?

each horse has to hunt 6 times i think and get their card signed,, or pay for a p to p subscription! not cheap!

It really depends on who you hunt with but its approx £300 for the first horse then £100 per horse after that. They now only have to hunt 4 times and most hunts expect you to stay out till 1.30pm to get your certificate.

You can drag hunt too, which is much more predictable for someone who wants to do just enough to qualify and not risk injury to an expensive racehorse! 4 meets with our drag in Cheshire would set you back £200 You can also get up later in the morning, which can't be a bad thing, can it ?

Mine cost £275 last year, which also gave me 7 days hunting (mine is a lovely horse to hunt) haven't been out yet as I am too busy or skint, so we will be last minute qualifying this year!
