Cost of running a lorry

We currently have 2 trailers and 2 4x4s. OH is about to replace her car. It is a company car and she has the option to take cash instead so we are thinking of replacing her car with a cheap run around and getting a lorry.

We've a fair idea of what we'll have to spend to buy a decent lorry, but have no idea of the typical running costs. I'd be grateful for information on roughly how much a lorry costs to maintain, insure etc each year. We would not be doing high mileages so wear and tear would not be huge.

I have just brought a lorry this yr. I did not have loads of £££sss to spend but wanted something to get us out and about. I brought a K reg Man which had done 200,000 km and it has just sailed through its plate, VOSA mechanic looks after it and says it is good. I am having it serviced £170 for oil, oil filter, fuel filter, antifreeze etc. Tax is £90 per 6 months and insurance and breakdown £270 all in from anthony evans for the yr.
