I want a Selecta in wide and nut brown to replace my narrow one. I saw one advertised at £500 and 10 years old as nut brown is not made any more.
My Selecta is 10 years old and although it has only had a few years wear I don't think it's worth £500.
Anyone got any thoughts on this?

I think the price of second hand saddle is very low at the moment.

I bought a nearly new Albion K2 on ebay for £500 (which cost about £900 new) but couldn't get £300 for it when advertised (becuase it didn't fit my horse). However, I took it in part exchange for another saddle from my saddler and got £700 for it! Would this be an option for you?

Unfortunately I live in a p*ss poor area for saddlers and people don't want to part with money for saddles, they think that they are still in the realm of the £50 saddle and I am not joking.
My saddle is too well worn to get a decent price even in part exchange.
